Ok, so here's that song for August that I was promising. It's called "Victory" and it's... well, I don't know anymore. Thanks to Jane for the idea for the song. I know, I'm behind. Been working on some other, new music projects so this one has been suffering a bit.

Ok, so maybe I've been slacking a little. Only got one song ready to upload. There's another song ready to finish up but i need to change a couple things. Trust me, it's worth the wait. Fans of early Cure and Joy Division will either be pleased or filing infringement lawsuits. Anyhow, "Pictures of Bridges" is good to go. The flip side to it is going to be called "Train song". In other news, I can't believe I just discovered the band Mineral. Been listening to the album EndSerenading non-stop in the studio for a couple weeks. Yeah, yeah, emo and all but I rarely like emo stuff. The Promise Ring's "30 Degrees Everywhere" is about the only emo album I really like next to this Mineral one. Ok, back to work I go.

Addendum

After many hours of nearly losing my mind in a flanger (yeah, I went kind of apeshit with the flange on this one), "Train Song" is now done and available for download. I thought it would sound more like early Cure but I think it's closer to Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me. I'd like to thank Jane especially for helping me with lyric ideas, great person she is. Hopefully you'll enjoy.

June 2004

Last month, we had the first songs. The A side is "Over The Ocean" and is a bit long but has some pretty cool stuff in it. One person said that they heard some Dinosaur Jr. influence so that's a good sign. The B side is called "The Wire" and it's more Sonic Youth I think - if anything, it's actually sort of a tribute to a great Boston band called Presley that I just recently discovered. Enjoy.
